I started off as a chubby kid, 5'2 132 lbs 24 percent body fat at the age of eleven in the sixth grade... I tried so hard to loose weight but I couldn't. But then in 8th grade I finally took action. I was tired of people saying I had "Bitch Tits" that "I need a bra" etc. So i decided to cut from 130 lbs to 118 lbs. I also hit a growth spurt. So I went from 5'2 130 lbs to 5'7 118 lbs. I kep... more. -

I decided to train because I got sick of people calling me skinny and weak. I was very insecure about it all. I decided to do something about it and I joined a gym. Haven't looked back since. I started training in 2006 when I weighed 75kg (165lbs). Needless to say I was really skinny. I trained from 2006 to late 2008 on a crappy routine and an even worse diet. I was just doing bicep curls, ... more. -

1.) What was your life like before your transformation and what was it like after? My life has changed dramatically since I completed my transformation. Before, I was diagnosed with depression, lacked confidence, and was just very unhappy with life in general. Now I couldn't be happier. My confidence has skyrocketed, I've made tons of new friends in and out of the bodybuilding communit... more. -

I believe the first time I ever worked out was in grade 9 for maybe 4 months steady. I saw a few of my friends starting to get bigger and I wanted in too. So I joined the local YMCA, which I am still a member of. I just had a generic routine my dad’s trainer gave him for me to use, which didn’t even include legs! I remember back then I was bench pressing 95lbs and dumbbell pressing the... more. -

I first started lifting in December 2008 right before my 22nd birthday. Tired of being skinny and getting no respect, I decided to hit the weights. A guy I admired helped me out a lot. He looked like a greek god, standing over the dumbell rack. I asked him for advice and he told me to eat, sleep, train. So that's what I did. I started off by lifting 135 lbs once on bench! Now I'm lifting 2... more. -

I was getting bullied a lot and pushed around because of my size in university, people would not depend on me for more "Manly" tasks which made me feel pretty bad about myself. I wanted to show everyone that I could transform myself and help boost my confidence and self worth. When I started out, I was very very VERY ignorant. I would work arms out nearly every day. It wasn't until other guys... more. -

1.) What was your life like before your transformation and what was it like after? Growing up I was always the skinny kid. I never payed much attention to what I eat and though I didn't mind food, I certainly didn't like it to the point of eating it all the time. On top of that I guess I have a pretty fast metabolism and ectomorphic genes, so not only was I not eating much in the first place, I... more. -

Paul Li, 15 years old, sophomore in high school playing middle linebacker for JV. After football freshman year, I realized that as a linebacker, the formula to success was to gain muscle mass. I was 140lbs, with a 95lb bench press. I started going to my school weight room, and played around with weight machines and such because our football program lacks solid strength training. I went f... more.
